I had a
recipe for collard greens. I started to make it when I discovered that collards can't live in a fridge for over a week without repercussions. That option out the window, I decided to make potato soup with the surviving five collard green leaves and whatever I could find, which happened to be bacon, onion, and cabbage. Ended up pretty good, but would have been better if I had cheese and/or milk. It was time to go grocery shopping about four days ago and I'm still trying to put meals together out of my pantry. Good news: any soup tastes better with fresh-from-the-oven biscuits.
