grandma fotta's goulash

One of the world's easiest meals:
  1. 1 lb ground meat (in this case, turkey), browned
  2. 1 lb elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  3. enough ketchup until it tastes good.
My excuses:
  1. I didn't start making dinner until 7:30pm.
  2. I had to use up the pound of ground turkey my parents left.
  3. It just sounded good.
This meal isn't as bad as it could have been since I used organic, non-high fructose corn syrup ketchup, right?

Sometimes I spruce this up using whole-wheat elbows and adding sauteed onion, bell pepper and garlic to the meat and throwing in some corn at the end. Pair that with a salad and it's pretty decent nutrition-wise. Of course I didn't do any of that tonight.

But I could have.
